Rose and Hedge Garden

Toongabbie, Sydney

The Garden Men were engaged to create a garden in the front of this Toongabbie home.

In discussion with the owner it was decided to plant standard roses in the front to match the plantation shutters and plant a hedge on the side to define the property edge. The lawn was sprayed and then dug up to allow for the soil to be conditioned in preparation for planting. A charcoal paver was used to define the garden edge and the garden planted out with murraya, English buxus and standard white iceberg roses. The garden was then mulched in sugarcane to break down and enrich the soil.
